Peppercom was founded on a central philosophy: They wanted to be in the business of understanding their clients' business. They have also evolved into an admired firm that thinks outside the box when it comes to servicing their clients' needs. There is no better example of this then their use of strand up comedy and humor.

It is hard to believe how your surrounding and community can become an enigma. A decade ago rapper's dealing with content such as drugs and the fallout of neighborhood violence were radicalized by the media. Many by publicist and public relations reps from the artist themselves. It wouldn't be for another two years that Southern hip hop would move from the stereotype of grills, guns and big cars to the cool look of grills, guns and cars.

When it was announced that his next project was a tribute album to Nas’ Illmatic, much of the hip hop world was left wondering if Elzhi was burned out or just lacking inspiration. If there has been one venture that has failed or fallen short of success. Cover albums have given many artists to create new ventures or breaks from writer’s block or lack of direction in creativity. In hip-hop, when it is necessary to stay relevant, artists drop “mix-tapes.” Mix tapes in some essence are cover albums, where production work comes from old projects or tracks from other artist’s album and contains a freestyle or new verse by an artist. Even though it features a sound or take of another project, it never takes the spin of creating a variation of a classic.

Tupac Shakur played the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last weekend—at least, a computerized likeness of him did. A hologram of the rapper, who was killed in 1996, appeared on stage and performed two songs 2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted and Hail Mary, alongside his still-living contemporaries Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. At the end of the act, hologram Tupac exploded into an impressive light display.

In one of the longest waits in television history, Mad Men premiered season 5 to zeal of its fans. In what can only be described as relief to many, we were treated to a special 2 hour premiere. When we left our beloved characters, it was 1965. Sterling Cooper Draper Price is now a fraction of its former lore but hanging by the threads. Peggy and Pete, who started as the fresh faces are now the rising stars while Roger Sterling and Bert Cooper have become more irrelevant.
